Jessica Alba at ComicCon: Missed Opportunity

I'll be in San Diego for the weekend, and I'll visit ComicCon on Friday. I haven't been to ComicCon since they premiered Katsuhiro Otomo's Akira. (Sadly, not the original 07.16.1988 premiere, where you see today's date on the screen and watch Tokyo annihilated. What a rush!)

Jessica Alba will be at ComicCon, too. (It's a Hollywood convention nowadays, too...) But she's not scheduled for Friday. So I can't count on her to lead all the fanboys away and clear the crowds for me at the other venues. (Imagine a pied piper followed by a throng of enchanted followers.)

I'm almost as intrigued by the sandcastles as by Comicon. Have fun, and please share your photos! I wonder who would attract more throngs of enchanted followers, Jessica Alba or Zannah?

I'm leaving Easter Eggs at the Con for those (like Zannah) who come after me. Notes like: "Ha ha! David Mack was here yesterday, and I told him to skip Saturday!" and, "I got the last Limited Release Pinky:ST ComicCon Edition, and I don't even like dolls! I'm letting my kids tear them apart!" OK. I'm not that mean.
