J-Pop Update

Here's the current status of my J-Pop exploration: a list of some songs that I'm listening to is at http://david.dlma.com/jpop.wpl.

Yeah, I keep some music on a server so it's available to me anywhere.

You could try to load that file into Windows Media Player (you can use Open File instead of Open URL, that way you can see the whole playlist and select random tracks.), but I've secured the actual media cleverly behind the username "ljfriends" and password "jpop."  (Please don't share.)

The playlist is only played in Shuffle mode, even though I'm mixing different styles in it.  And there are too many Bonnie Pink songs.  I'll probably drop about three or four of them.

Evidently, I'm a sentimental sucker for OP/ED of dorama and anime that I've watched.  The songs aren't nearly as good if you don't have that emotional attachment.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh tooooooooooooo goooooooooooood. Thank you. What a great playlist. Rie Fu is new to me: Life is a Boat . . . very pretty.

I'm quite fond of the happy songs. (Maybe because they contrast nicely with the other, Kurt Cobainy, phase I'm going through.) Speaking of OP/EDs, Life is a Boat is one of the ending themes to a show I've watched, Bleach. (Not that Bleach is anything special, though.) Glad you like it! ^_^;

And who in the world is Bonnie Pink and why am I liking her so much?

I'm glad that you do! It'll come as a complete shock for you to learn that I discovered her through the ending credits to another show. (What'd I say about my being easily influenced by OP/EDs?) It's not exactly synesthesia, but I think the light-play in the video of Bonnie Pink's "Last Kiss" is effective. (Especially as she holds and tosses the light.)
