Thank God! Googling for MTV's Downtown over the past five years has resulted in no hits for the animation. I was beginning to think the whole series was just a figment of my own imagination. (And why would Downtown Joolie Brown still have so many hits?)

Note to self: Add keywords like Chaka or "Chris Prynoski"
And MTV releases the Spiderman cartoon to DVD, but not Downtown? WTF? Have they failed to grok the DVD marketplace? Have they never heard of Joss Whedon's Firefly?
