Seattle Training

Don't come to California.
It's never been rainier. It's never rained so much.
Most rain ever.

That is all.
I'll let you know when it's sunny again.
... checks forecast ...
... checks long range forecast ...
Umm. No sooner than two weeks from now.

It probably means you Californians won't be able to whine about another draught before summer arrives :)

Holy Cow, Sjon! For somebody in Belgium, you're very up-to-date with what we Californians are up to. And for the record, yes. Here's how it'll go down: 1. Most rain ever. Saturated hills. Landslides. 2. Lots of pollen. Hay-Fever / Flu confusion. 3. Lots of drying underbrush, leading to: 4. Lots of fires. 5. Drought. 6. Rolling blackouts.

That is asuming the rains will slack off before summer. Of course if they don't you can replace some of the points. 3. crops rotting/drowning on the fields 4. random local flooding 5. Supper flooding by breaking dams not capabale of holding all the water. 6. Rock-n-Rolling blackouts ...

You are prescient, Sjon. There were two levee breaks today. The forecast still doesn't predict any sun. Comparing this weather to the weather in  zannah's recent photo makes me want to visit Seattle for the sunshine!

Seing that things I casually mention actually happen I'll better not talk about the big quakes and tsunamis ... Heu ... :)
