Secret Project

Secret Project

Having children and a NetFlix subscription have put the brakes on my secret projects.

But it looks like a new one is forming itself.

I took my daughter to Score today, and doodled on a sheet of grid ruled paper while I waited for her, and while my son was reading his "Little R" book in the back seat.

This'll be an easy secret project, but it'll still take a couple of months before it sees the light of day.

Unfortunately, I don't think it'll ever be available for public consumption. Just a little joke between me and my computer.

I'm guessing a triangular exploding sheep.

Far from it. Actually, an equilateral triangular exploding Aardman Animationsish (as opposed to Mo Willemseque) sheep, to be a touch more precise, my dear friend.

That has "Million Dollar Baby" written all over it, my friend. Remember the little people (like me) when you are swimming in money.

Ah, you see it too?

Back when I was, oh, probably about the age of your kids, my cousin and her husband had recently read a book called Psychic Discoveries Behind the Iron Curtain. During the annual Thanksgiving family get-together in Grants Pass, Oregon (a hotbed, at the time, of both Sasquatch and UFO sightings), cousin Pam excitedly discoursed on all manner of psychic phenomena, including telekinesis (remember Uri Geller?), Kirlian photography, and... Pyramid Power. She cheerfully gave everyone whom she could get to take one a miniature pyramid model made from heavy mat board along with written instructions on how to use the pyramid to sharpen razor blades, and a diagram for building similar models based on the exact dimensions of the Great Pyramid in Egypt. Her diagram looked very similar to what you've drawn. Eerily, preternaturally similar. Do you know my cousin? Her married name is -- and no, I am not making this up -- Daft.

By looking at your link to abduct.com, it's evident that I could know her, but that my memory was wiped of the occurrence during one of my alien abductions. Clever, clever aliens. Wonder why she missed out on the sheep bits. It doesn't work without the sheep.
