Thanks! I think Maddie's fever has broke. Mine hasn't. I'm going to look into the tea, something like that sounds good for the throat now, anyway.

If you get to the point where you are unable to do much other than lie around and watch anime: H2O Footprints in the Sand is an odd but fascinating little series. While Bamboo Blade has evolved into a slightly more sophisticated Prince of Tennis, and True Tears (which started off delightfully) jumped the shark for me a few weeks ago, at episode 11, H2O is so much more interesting than I ever thought it would be, based on the first few episodes.
