The web still isn't ready for png. Grr.
Why is it, that if you're using a current version of Internet Explorer on a Microsoft Windows machine, that this image looks slightly lighter than this one? (Load them both, and navigate between them to see the subtle difference.) Firefox displays the .png file correctly. And if IE did too, then that would save my site some bandwidth...
