What do Bjork and Charlie Kaufman have in common?
Answer: Spike Jonze and Michel Gondry.
I rented The Work of Spike Jonze knowing I'd enjoy the videos, but was pleasantly surprised to discover that Weapon of Choice was filmed in a five day opening before the filming of a Charlie Kaufman movie.
So I then get The Work of Mechel Gondry, mostly to watch Bjork videos, and discover that he directed my favorite Charlie Kaufman movie!
And let me put it in no uncertain terms, Amazon Theater's "Do Geese See God" has nothing on Cibo Matto's "Sugar Water" video. As far as I'm concerned, "Sugar Water" is the standard in video palindromes.
