The 2011 Eisner Awards
The Good
Yay, I love Chew! Congrats to John Layman and Rob Guillory.
Also, much love for Daytripper, big fan of Fábio Moon and Gabriel Bá.
More yay for The Marvelous Land of Oz, adapted by Shanower and Young!
And - Mike Mignola continues to amaze me with his covers. Glad I'm evidently not alone.
The Bad
So I searched the Eisner results for Ed Brubaker and Sean Philips, but didn't find them. There must have been some sort of mistake?
I just never got into American Vampire. Maybe it's a good thing I'm not 100% in lock-step with the Eisner judges.
To Be Enjoyed
I missed the boat on Return of the Dapper Men and Wilson and Wednesday Comics. Must find these things. Something new to read.
