David BlumeAs we say goodbye to 2014, I'm pouring one out for 1920x1200 resolution monitors. The aspect ratio 16:10 is better for code development. It gives just a little more height for the same width as on a 16:9 monitor. But nearly all monitors are now being produced with a 16:9 or 2.35:1 aspect ratio, sticking us with really wide resolutions like 1920x1080 or worse. Goodbye, superior monitors for code development. It was good while it lasted.
