Give it a minute, and trace genres like "musical", "crime" (and of course "drama") across time in terms of highest grossing vs. Academy Award nominees.
It's funny, as movies have migrated from adult features (re: the diminishment of crime and drama in favor of children's and comedy) to children's fare, I've resorted to comic books (Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillips) to get my dose of crime and drama.
