Backup of David's Google+ Posts

TIL that Google+ hides and deletes some of your posts without actively notifying you.  A few days ago, I suggested a Science Fiction double-feature: Another Earth and Melancholia.  It was a sincere suggestion.  They're good movies.

It just so happens that I scrolled down in my steam until I found the post, and saw that Google said they'd hidden it from view.  Once I clicked on the question mark, I saw the notice that the post was marked for deletion, unless I filed a submission for review.  If I didn't visit my own steam, I'd never have known.  I don't know how many other posts they've algorithmically hidden and deleted.

I was really trying to give you a shot, Google+, but this seriously undermined my experience here. How can I know if it's worth my effort to post here if Google+ might just hide and delete it?

Screenshot enclosed.

So, can anyone see this post?

This post is visible , the one hidden isn't.
It should be interesting to know which policy rule the post violated

I think I know now.  I posted the same message to Twitter. That one bore fruit, as I got a reply by somebody involved in the movie's soundtrack. That was rewarding. The irony here is that I accused her of being a Twitter Auto-Reply Bot.  And, here, Google+ saw fit to accuse me of being a spammer.  Here's the thread at Twitter: https://twitter.com/dblume/status/257387582793596928

Really funny ...  :D

Yeah, I see the post that you are queuing Another Earth, but don't see the post about watching it ... I wish I had, I'm going to add it to my Wish List ... similar to the premise of another earth: Journey to the Far Side of the Sun http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0064519/

I'm intrigued! Was the Rei Ko post that was just here deleted on purpose or did it mention some catch word as well ...
I can see the post on my BlackBerry in Gmail and I don't see any reason that it would be deleted ...

+Ken Roland, no worries there. That's a friend of mine from elsewhere, and it was a reply that they changed their mind on.  You just happened to have been online at the time.

Yeah I see this one. No mention or idea of why your post supposedly violates their policies?!

Oh I see...

For the record, I submitted the post for further review, and it seems to have passed.  Thank you, maybe-human at Google who approved my suggested SciFi double-feature.
