When I watch T.V. series on DVD, I routinely chapter ahead through the opening and closing credits, except in rare circumstances. I really enjoy the opening credits for Ghost Hound, and can't chapter forward past them. I get so wrapped up in those drums and that bass. The singer is Mayumi Kojima.

I loved ghost hound. It's kinda slow but it sets the mood. Beck is another series that I always watched the opening credits. Hell I even sang along. Haha

I really liked Beck, too. Here's what I wrote about it: http://dblume.livejournal.com/100378.html. And regarding that opening song? Over three years ago I tweeted this: https://twitter.com/#!/dblume/statuses/787003879 !

+Michael Miller I'd be interested in any other recommendations you'd have!

Drat! I've already seen the titles that Netflix has available on DVD. (Except for High School of the Dead, which doesn't look like my thing. Don't get me wrong: I love zombies, guns and girls, but they've got the mix wrong for me somehow.)

Speaking of girls and guns, have you seen Black Lagoon? (http://dblume.livejournal.com/126960.html) I also really liked Flag.

I've seen black lagoon. I'll have to check out Flag. Speed Grapher is good. On crunchy roll I've been watching Gosick, dead man wonderland, steins gate, and something called library demon or something like that. There's another series that looks like Time of Eve, something about a coffee shop.
