If you have the nerve to walk this trail, you can hike anything. Located near Álora in the province of Málaga, Spain, the 'King's little pathway' was built into the sheer walls of a narrow gorge back in 1905. It was intended as a maintenance route for hydroelectric workers but has since fallen into serious disrepair. The path was closed to the public after hiker fatalities in 1999 & 2000. Its renovation should be complete by 2014...hopefully with hand rails this time. GPS Coordinates: 36.916188,-4.772783 (video 9 min)
