David BlumeYou know what a lot of bloggers forget to do when they upgrade or move their blogs? Maintain the old location of its feed! I can't tell you how many times I'd thought people I follow just went silent, when actually, they simply installed a new or different engine for their blog.
I've upgraded and moved one of my blogs today. To update the feed, first I've left a human-readable notice at the old feed. (See the screenshot.) After I give that a little soak time, I'll turn it into a plain old HTTP 301 Permanent Redirect. #rss #atom #sitemaintenance
