GoGo on Gantz
Just got Gantz volume 7, and one of the extras is an interview between the creator of the manga and ... Chiaki Kuriyama. Chiaki's credit was, "Gantz Fan." Not voice actress or anything. Just: fan.
It was pretty strange. Chiaki seemed just a little uncomfortable talking about reading the manga, watching the TV series, then watching the DVDs, but then she warmed up a little talking about the details of certain episodes and the prospective of a live-action Gantz. She did that modest laugh where one covers her mouth while laughing. That was odd, too, because I still remember her character, the ultra aggressive GoGo Yubari in Kill Bill.
Oh, and she wore this suit that was very reminiscent of Uma Thurman's during the dance in Pulp Fiction.
