Moving to a new web host. (Maybe)

I've had it with outages from my ISP. I'm going to bite the bullet and move all my MySQL databases, python, perl, php scripts, and domains out. Even if it costs more. Anybody want to give me a referral and reap the benefits? (Lots of ISPs will give you a pat on the head if you earn them a new customer.)

My requirements are access to raw referrer logs, perl, php, mysql, python, a few ftp accounts, etc. I've got about 3, 4ish full domains moving over. Some subdomains. Stuff like that.

Who are you using now/in the past?

Not to give them any publicity, but I've got a Hostony Special account. Their prices are right, and the tools are good. Staff responds quickly. But I can count on a few micro outages (a few hours) every quarter. But since the outages usually come in spurts, it's frustrating. They guarantee 99% uptime, and I'm pretty sure my sites are unavailable 3 days out of a year. Lucky them. I use Firefox Bookmark Synchronizer, which does a little ftp session every time I open Firefox, so it's really apparent when my site is down.

Snikeys! Good luck with the migration. Sounds like you've got a lot of wagons to caravan.
