Please mute your cell phones and unplug your shoes
We took the kids to a little jazz concert. It was a matinee performance, and there were a lot of kids, everybody was surprisingly well-behaved.
Just before the performance, the announcer reminded us to "please mute your cell phones."
During the performance, we were all bopping along with the music when I noticed little areas dimmly flashing throughout the dark theater. Like colorful fireflies everywhere bopping along with us.
Then I realized that it was all the kids' shoes lighting up as the kids kicked in time with the music.
