The Seattle Blogger Crawl

In my dream this morning, a few of us were doing the Seattle Blogger Crawl (visiting a few homes of Seattle bloggers). When we got to  zannah's home, some college kids just outside were singing,

Pizza Pizza Day Is Free
And Free Pizza Is Good To Me
(Rest of the lyrics forgotten, but there were others.)

(Well, it made sense and was quite catchy in my dream.)  A few of
the bloggers were watching the show, but I got distracted by this
chalkboard and mixed-color chalk that was mostly white with a
swirl of black around the rim.  It was amazing, because no matter
how I held it and drew, it always managed to highlight what I wrote
with a cool outlined 3D-ish edge.  I busied myself alone with the
chalk for a few minutes, trying to figure it out, when I got in trouble
with Zannah for either ignoring the other people, or for using up
her chalk.  A little of both, I guess.  Sorry, Z!

Wow. Okay, I have to admit, originally, I totally breezed past the "In my dream this morning" part of the sentence and was thinking, "Seattle Blogger Crawl?!?!" *grin* You can borrow my chalk anytime, though!

Thanks. I never actually thought you were a 3D-Chalk Scrooge. And, I never actually thought that that pizza song made great music. (Except I was singing those two lines for an hour after I woke up. That's how I remember it.)

You should go back, maybe you wrote the lyrics on that chalkboard

I'd like to go back! But mostly to hang out with virtual friends and to sing that weird drinking/pizza song. I like dreams like that.

Those are the best lyrics ever.

Hah! I'm sure you'll appreciate that that was nocturne verite. A part of me really wanted to grammatically improve the song to something like, "Pizza, Pizza Day it's free! And Free Pizza sounds good to me." But I didn't because the more awkward version is really what I dreamt.
