Am I going to fund this at the $60.00 level? Maybe I'm good at the $35.00 level? (Honestly 350 lumens is OK with me. I'm not worried about blinding my kids, I'm worried about them blinding me.) Maybe I'd better sleep on it.

They look like such cute toys! Would make a good backup light, though.

Followup to my own comment. If you do this, I highly advise the more powerful light. You can always run it in low-power mode. I want one of these as a backup/portable light to carry with me. I already have a flashlight that's 3000 lumens, although I generally run it in low power mode (1000 lumens), but it's become my go-to flashlight for almost everything. I really like having all that light available. Instead of a fairly pathetic beam that lights up a small area, I can use it to flood a large area - literally, the whole grassy in the center of my complex. Point it at my ceiling, and it gives a nice level of ambient light in a room. I just find it really useful.

Wow that is a great device! Did you go for the $60 level?

Yep, I got the extra lumens on the open source programmable flashlight. If that doesn't bump my geek cred, nothing will.

David, you need nothing else to bump your geek cred, you are already the Geek's Geek! But this just takes you to the next level. I am envious...
