Ted and I climbed to this 22-minute epic song. We fit in two or three routes each, claiming it was giving us a +1 climbing bonus while it lasted.

We were guessing it was from the '70s or so. Turns out it's from 2005.

Earthless is an instrumental psychedelic rock band from San Diego, California consisting of guitarist Isaiah Mitchell, bassist Mike Eginton, and drummer Mario Rubalcaba. This is part 1 of Lost in the Cold Sun, the 2nd song off of their first album "Sonic Prayer"

10:54 is just not enough - I need to find the full 22 minute version :)

Can't claim that it was "listening" music for us. It did serve as music to work out to, though. It fell into the background and allowed us to focus on the problem solving. (Inasmuch as climbing is both working out and problem solving.)

I actually posted the wrong youtube vid. This one cuts off after a mere 11 minutes of the same riff. You really need to listen to the full 20 minutes for the glory and truth of the riff to sink in.
