This ex-PM of Google Reader gives a great criticism of the recent change to Google Reader.

Also, apparently that black bar at the top is called the OneGoogle bar. I'm still looking for a way to disable the "open in another tab" attribute of clicking on an app in there. Mostly, I want to stay in the same tab. I'll hold down Ctrl if I want to open a link in another tab.

I was very recently trying to find a way disable the new tab behavior myself.

If worse comes to worse, I'll write a GreaseMonkey script. But you'd think somebody has already done this. But what do you search for? Does anybody even know the proper term for the damn thing is OneGoogle bar?
