Because you've commented? I thought Google+ was just noting who was in our mutually intersecting circles, as it were.

I don't want my incoming stream to be too busy, so I don't encircle too many celebrities. (Ooh, Felicia should feel so privileged that I've deigned to encircle her!) But I feel I should encircle one or two more internet celebs because I'm not getting all the good tips you are.

Complaint: The same item shared multiple times in my stream. I only need to read about G+ tips once not every other post.

I dropped all the "celebs" into the default following folder and then filter my stream by circle.
